Postgraduate Programme Renewable Energy  (MSc)

The overarching objective of PPRE is to teach students the fundamental principles and applications of renewable energy sources; special attention is paid to the possibilities for application in developing countries.

PhD Programme Mathematics in Industry and Commerce (MIC)

For 36 months, the PhD students will pursue their research supervised by a professor of the University of Kaiserslautern. In general, supervisor and student determine the topic of the PhD thesis in cooperation with a company, often via the “Fraunhofer-Institute for Industrial Mathematics” (ITWM).

Agricultural Economics and Rural Development (Doctoral Studies)

The International PhD Program for Agricultural Economics, Bioeconomy and Rural Development is a joint program offered by Justus-Liebig-University Giessen and the University of Hohenheim. The Program focuses on interactions between environmental, social and economic dynamics and where values play an important role.

ZEF Doctoral Studies Program

The ZEF Doctoral Studies Program is designed to give particular consideration to the academic needs of students from developing countries. ZEF provides intense study counseling and academic support services by tutors and mentors. Guided by ZEF, and following consultations with a potential thesis supervisor identified by ZEF, the doctoral thesis is submitted to a cooperating faculty in Germany or abroad.
