On June 21st and 22nd 2014 a Workshop on “Reintegration into domestic job markets” will be held at the Gustav-Stresemann-Institute in Bonn. This is the first networking activity initiated by AGEPs-Network coordinator Robin Pass.
The idea behind the workshop is to create a series of courses on generalist qualifications that can be offered additionally to all of the students enrolled in AGEP courses. This will enhance the spectrum of profiling possibilities for the students and with a stronger focus on practical skills, their employability will be improved.
To reach this goal, a group of AGEP-alumni from a very broad variety of fields of activity are brought together in the framework this workshop. They systematically look back on and reappraise their reintegration experiences and deduce recommendations for action from them, to improve the quality of support for the reintegration of current students.
Subsequently the Alumni will have a chance to visit their former universities and meet with currently enrolled students to present the findings of the workshop and to elaborate on their personal experiences and answer questions.
