Course description Global Health Risk Management & Hygiene Policies

  • Fields of study include One Health and Food Safety, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Adapted Clinical Care, health risk assessment and capacity building in the public health sector, the control of communicable diseases and hygiene infrastructure.
  • You learn how to analyse health systems and policies, develop specific measures for strengthening health systems and how to implement health promotion and hygiene concepts in order to achieve internationally agreed targets on a regional, national or even international level.
  • All modules particularly focus on low-resource settings and LMIC.
  • The course aims at training Global Health practitioners for a career path in policymaking or policy advice, health and social advocacy, health management and governance.

Entry requirements
  • first academic degree of at least 180 CP
  • at least two years working experiences after obtaining the first academic degree in relevant areas, for instance, the regulation of health protection, health management and planning of health care infrastructure, etc.
  • English language proficiency: IELTS (Band 6) certificate or TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper based, 213 computer based; 80 internet based)
