The DAAD has its headquarters in Bonn in the western part of Germany. But its network spans the entire globe. This means you can contact us personally in many places around the world. Our members of staff and partners are happy to advise you about grants, courses and the system of higher education in Germany.
Exchanges with partners around the globe
DAAD stands for international academic exchange – and as an organisation we remain true to this principle. Our country experts at our headquarters in Bonn are supported by an ever expanding global network of representatives. Our offices abroad maintain close contact to ministries and academic organisations in the relevant countries, and initiate research and university collaborations.
We also support exchanges with international students interested in studying in Germany. This is why we are happy to talk to you at our many representations around the world.
We look forward to advising you – and not just in German! This means you can often obtain advice and help planning your stay in Germany from your home country. Contact one of the 51 DAAD Information Centres (ICs) or one of the DAAD’s 14 branch offices.
Whether you contact us by email, phone, via Facebook or call by at one of our offices personally, we are happy to help you at all times!
